Life cycle Holistic approach to business decision-making and
thinking planning including long-term impacts of the product or
service on environment and society.
Water footprint Volume of water used and polluted at each stage of the
production process, usually expressed in cubic meter per
ton of product of hectare of cropland.
System thinking Approach to thinking about complex phenomena in
terms of inputs and outputs, elements and their
interrelations.
